Analysis of "Which"

all of them in sections of the text that are not in F; Q's total is thus sixty-four. Though shorter, F
has fifteen instances not in Q for a total of seventy instances. In ten cases, F has which where Q
has that: three are in sections not in Q, in one case F has which where Q has who, and in another,
F has which where there is no relative in Q This patrern, consistent in all five acts, implies one
author preferred that, who, or a relative deletion to which as a relative, and a second author, or the
first author at a different time of composition, preferred which.

Analysis of "Does"

Q and F share nine instances of does and twelve of doth.
Q has one instance of does in a section not in F, so ten in all. Q has five instances of doth not in F,
twO of them in unique passages, and three where F has does, seventeen in all. F has two instances
of does in unique passages, three instances where Q has doth and three where Q has doest or do,
so seventeen in all. F has one instance of doth in a passage not shared with Q, so thirteen in all.
Direct changes come in one direction only. Q never has does where F has doth, and vice versa.
Overall, Q has ten instances of does to seventeen of doth while F has seventeen to thirteen. If we
posit a single author behind each text, one author prefers doth and the other does.

Analysis of "These"

There are thirty instances of these common to Q and F. In addition, Q has two instances not
in F, so Q has thirty-two instances in all. Both such instances not in F are in sections that do
not appear in F. There are six instances in F not in Q, so F has thirty-six instances in all. Of the
instances not shared with Q, one is in a section not in Q, three have these where Q has this, and
two have these where Q has those.
