Hypotheses
- Typically revisions are made in scenes toward the end of the plays.
- Typically revisions are made in speeches by the main protagonists -- Hamlet in Ham, King Henry V in H5, Lear in Lr, Marcus Andronicus in Tit.
- H5 revisions are mostly additions (Q<F so Q-F is negative -- blue).
- In the other plays the balance of additions and deletions is more even.
- There was a significant omission in the folio of Lr in scene 13 (Q>F so Q-F is positive -- red) -- the "mock trial".
Ham H5 Lr LLL Tit
- Blue implies additions (Q<F so Q-F is negative -- blue)
- Red implies deletions (Q>F so Q-F is positive -- red)
